1. | Remove the mirror holder, and the power mirror. |
2. | Disconnect the 3P (or 6P)*1 (or 8P)*2 connector from the mirror.

3. | With retractable power mirror: If replace the power mirror actuator, disassemble the power mirror 6P connector (A), and remove the No. 1 and No. 3 terminals or 8P connector No. 1 and No. 2 terminals from it. If replace the retract actuator, disassemble the power mirror 6P connector (A), and remove the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 terminals or 8P connector No. 6, No. 7 and No. 8 terminals from it. |
4. | Record the terminal locations and wire colors. |
5. | Disassemble the power mirror 8P connector, and remove all terminals from it, and remove the screw from the gasket (B).

6. | Remove the screws and the mirror visor (A).
|
7. | Remove the three screws, and separate the mirror housing (A) from the bracket (B).
|
8. | Remove the four screws, and the actuator (A).
|
9. | Disconnect the 2P connector (B) from the side turn signal light. |
10. | Route the wire harness (A) of the new actuator through the hole in the bracket (B) and gasket (C).

11. | Install the actuator, bracket, harness clip (D), and gasket in the reverse order of removal. |
12. | Insert the new actuator terminals into the connector in the original arrangement. Left: Right: |
13. | Apply tape to seal the intersection of the wire harness and the gasket. |
14. | Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly. Be careful not to break the mirror when reinstalling it to the actuator. |
15. | Reinstall the mirror assembly on the door. |
16. | Operate the power mirror to ensure smooth operation. |
