- Be careful not to damage the booster surfaces and the threads on the booster stud bolts.
- Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines.
| 1. | Remove the master cylinder. |
| 2. | Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) from the brake booster (B).

| 3. | Except K20Z2 engine model: Remove the engine wire harness clamps (A).
|
| 4. | Except K20Z2 engine model: Remove the heater hoses (A) from the clamp (B).
|
| 5. | K20Z2 engine model: Remove the engine wire harness clamps (A), then remove the air cleaner stay (B).
|
| 6. | Remove the lock pin (A) and the joint pin (B).
|
| 7. | Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C). |
| 8. | Pull the brake booster (A) forward.
|
| 9. | Remove the brake booster (A) by pulling it out and turning it, and remove it from the engine compartment.
|
| 10. | Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: |
