DTC Troubleshooting: 7

DTC indicator 7:  HVAC Control Unit Internal Error


NOTE: Check the battery condition and the charging system, except K20Z2 engine, K20Z2 engine.

1.Clear the DTC..

2.Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then ON (II).

3.Do the self-diagnostic with the HVAC control unit..

4.Check for DTCs.

Is DTC 7 indicated?


YES - The HVAC control unit is faulty, replace the  HVAC control unit.n


NO - Intermittent failure, the HVAC control unit is OK at this time.n
