| 1. | For models if equipped with power steering fluid cooler: Remove the bolts (A) securing the power steering fluid line brackets, and remove the power steering fluid line from the clamps (B). LHD model RHD model |
| 2. | Loosen the water pump pulley mounting bolts.

| 3. | Remove the drive belt. |
| 4. | Remove the water pump pulley.
|
| 5. | Turn the water pump counterclockwise. Check that it turns freely. If doesn't turn smoothly, replace the water pump. NOTE: When you check the water pump, you may see a small amount of ‘‘weeping'' from the bleed holes (A). This is normal.

| 6. | Install the water pump pulley. |
| 7. | Install the drive belt. |
| 8. | Tighten the water pump pulley mounting bolts to the specified torque. |
| 9. | For models if equipped with power steering fluid cooler: Install the power steering fluid line brackets, and install the power steering fluid line to the clamps. |
